Chiara works in the Michael Kharas lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and studies the regulation of RNA-binding proteins and how this orchestrates the function of stem cells in normal and malignant hematopoiesis. She hopes to identify novel therapeutic strategies to treat leukemias and lymphomas with the eventual goal of working in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. She also acts as a consultant for Project SHORT mentoring students from under-represented backgrounds to be successful in applying to 博士学位 programs and FIND Genomics.
从ACPHS毕业后 with a PharmD and MBA in 2020, Nicolas (Nic) James joined UCB, Inc. in Atlanta, GA, for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship program, focused in Global Regulatory Affairs. Nic stayed on as a Regulatory Scientist for a brief time, 2023年3月, joined Karuna Therapeutics as a Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs, developing the next generation of medicines for patients living with psychiatric diseases. He is passionate about the development of ACPHS students and the longevity of the College; he is also an avid golfer, and currently lives with his wife and two cats in their new home in central Connecticut.

She has been recognized as a Connecticut Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in both 2022 and 2023. In her free time, she serves on the Westport Farmers’ Market Board of Directors.
瑞秋Wurth is currently a 博士学位 candidate in the Clinical and Translational Science Track at Mayo Clinic Graduate School of 生物医学科学. Rachel is conducting her thesis work in the clinical Biochemical Genetics Laboratory under the mentorship of Devin Oglesbee, 博士学位, where she is designing an untargeted metabolomics platform to characterize inborn errors of metabolism for the purpose of novel biomarker discovery. 通过与临床实验室的合作, Rachel aims to translate discovered biomarkers into novel diagnostic assays that can improve the detection, and prognostic monitoring of individuals with inborn errors of metabolism.
